Caitlin and Matt wed at River Farm

Caitlin and Matt’s romantic River Farm wedding was only made better by the addition of so many wonderful details. The couple wanted to be sure their family and friends ate wonderful food, drank excellent wine and had lots of extracurricular activities during their time with the couple. We started the day at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, a very wedding-y hotel (works great for photos and loved the purple linens in the room)

Caitlin’s Grandmother was overcome with emotion. It was a very sweet moment and everyone that was leaving the church stopped to witness it:

One of the local news stations was doing a piece on romantic spots near the monuments, so they stopped the wedding party and asked for comment.

At the Lincoln Memorial, we were able to get around the back without anyone hounding us for a permit. I sort of think that’s how it should be.
