Baltimore Museum of Industry Wedding: Ilana and Raphael

Ilana and Raphael got married on a beautiful spring day. Their wedding was my first of the year and also my first time photographing a wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. The BMI is such a unique and fascinating place with exhibitions of the history of Baltimore as a trading port and industrial hub.

Many of Ilana and Raphael’s family and friends travelled from afar to celebrate their union on this early spring day. It was brisk outside but warm and welcoming at the BMI. There were many personal touches at their wedding. The chuppah canopy is made up of prayer shawls from Ilana’s mom and grandma. Docked outside is a steam powered tugboat from 1906.Raphael is an economist and one of his research topics is industrialization and specifically, the steam engine- what a coincidence!

Ilana + Raphael, congratulations to you two.
