Disco Ball and Electric Light Photo Shoot

In winter, when the weddings are on hold and we have time to explore some creative endeavors, we come up with new ways to make photographs of our clients. In this recent collaboration with Revolution Events, we asked clients to wear their “funky disco chic” and meet us in the disco photo shoot room. We got funky. Here’s what we came up with, enjoy!

Clients Alison and Eric are technically more steampunk, but I knew they would have something in their closet that would work.

A black tutu? Yes! Thanks to marketing mastermind Kate Ansari of Haven Street Ballroom for popping in for a few.

Andrew (Jennifer’s son and sometimes wedding assistant) and Sierra Decker- both known for their modeling skills.

AVAM wedding clients Katie and Shawn brought the funk.

Also AVAM wedding bride Lauren pulled out her rainbow faux fur.

Belvedere & Co. Event manager April found her inner diva.

The Diamond kids jockeyed for the limelight. Thanks Janelle of Baltimore Weddings for sharing their fun personalities.

On the left, Marcellis of Revolution Events and his sweet daughter stole the show.

Baltimore musician and community activist Eze Jackson made an appearance and was a natural in front of the camera, so we tried some different lighting.

The one and only Marcellis.

A reluctant model on the left, Baltimore Weddings Editor Staci Lanham’s son and his friend on the right.
